Trey Pellerin carries a ladder up a back staircase at the Illinois Theater in Jacksonville. Pellerin, who has worked at the theater for nearly two years, was stripping old paint and clearing trash in preparation for renovations and expansion of the theater expected to take place later this summer and into fall.
