Bicyclist injured after colliding with vehicle
A bicyclist was injured when his bicycle and a sport utility vehicle collided on Westgate Avenue. The boy, whose name was unavailable, was taken to Passavant Area Hospital.
Jacksonville Police said the boy was riding a bicycle through stopped traffic just north of the Westgate and West Morton avenues intersection about 1:55 p.m. when he collided with the vehicle, cracking its windshield when he landed on it.
